    I didn't either know, so I didn't want everyone to do it, lmao! I just copied the codes from my glitter-graphics page. Didn't understand the what it would do to her website. .w.:
    Hehehehe.

    I think it would work if it was:

    {URL= "name of original site"}{IMG}http://photobucketorwhatever...{/IMG}{/URL}

    (I'm using { instead [ brackets )
    It's a pain in the butt, but when context or origin of photo is known, it would be nice to bring people to it.

    Re: Ultra Bad-Ass Vintage Costumes

    Testing with an image I swiped and put in photobucket, with a link to where I found it...

    I clicked on the insert link icon above (the one that looks like a world and a chain link) put the original url to the vintage photos community in the prompt box and got something that looked like this
    {URL="http://community.livejournal.com/vintagephoto/4421705.html#cutid1"}http://community.livejournal.com/vintagephoto/4421705.html#cutid1{/url}

    I erased the address between the {URL="blahblabhah"} and {/URL} brackets and left my cursor between those two items. Then I clicked on the image icon (the landscape picture) and entered the address where I host that picture)

    Now I have something that looks like
    {URL="http://community.livejournal.com/vintagephoto/4421705.html#cutid1/"} {IMG}http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/Buggirl/dance/3588687910_4d9fb9ca67_o.jpg{/IMG} {/URL}

    Let's see if it works.

    It works.
    I right clicked and checked. The link properties go to the vintage photo community but the image property is my photobucket url.

    I can use a service created for the purpose of hosting images to bring us the image AND I can link the the original source I swiped it from.

    Now, many bhuzzers no doubt have files and files of images and they no longer know where they got them. Try to give credit when you have a clue, try to put things in context, but otehrwise admit you don't know the source. If it's somethign you've recently found, think about doing this to give credit, and do mention that clicking on the image will bring readers to the original source.

    Ta-da!

    BDadiction, your thinking was sound and smart.

    Everyone else, I am sure you're asleep now. It's not exciting stuff.

    I just wanted to apologize to Lynette. I didn't intentionally post GS photos without credit and link. I honestly pulled all these photos from other sites. Not that it's that good to post all these photos from the other sites either. I've been a bad girl. If they are in my photo bucket, then I might have pulled it from GS ages ago, just to look at for reference and later forgot where I got them from. Thank you Lynette for pointing this out and providing the links. We would love to see what you would add to the conversation.

    I really enjoyed looking at Tasha's photo gallery. I just saw her perform in Bethlehem, PA and she is still fierce.

    I'm in love with the whole clip - the up-do for her hair, the strapless look of the bra, love that she's playing finger cymbals. Thanks for posting it!
