I never get tired of looking at this thread.

Wow, who knew my silly thread would take on such a life of its own! So much inspiration and so many great pictures.

I did it. After much stalking, I ended up buying the Nadia Gamal bedlah. It's a few inches too big in the hip, but dang it...I'll MAKE it work! ..l;,

Now, I wonder what color skirt will go best with "Exploding Skittles" .w.:

she is beautiful! most of these women are so beautiful and soft. toned yet very fem i love there hips and belly's that is what i think of when i think of belly dance. i feel so many dances want to be tight with there body and hard in there movements these days. and these women enbodyed femininty sorry not a good speller. but you get what i mean. some dancers worry so much about a move but these women were comfortable with them selves and just a women moving is beautiful.I can see why guys like women. they are beautiful! thank you for sharing thses photo's
now i need to find a place to dance were i can were see threw skirts those are way cool!

This costume is actually bright green and pink, but I plan to re-use the pearls in a newer vintage style costume. I'm going to arrange them in the same way as they are currently on the bra and belt, so it will come out something like this picture. I tweaked the colors to make the photo look old, lol, hope that counts.
