    What I love about these is every single costume is different. Same basic elements, but all different execution and materials. Also that slightly homemade look, which makes every one of them unique. No carbon copies here!

    And of course gaga-ing over the makeup and hair!

    The people's expressions in the one with the pasties are priceless. The man is smirking and the woman is sneering.

    I keep hoping that one morning I'll wake up and be magically transformed into Juliana from the George Abdo album covers, and I'll find her costume wardrobe in my closet, too.

    Please keep the pics coming!

    Ok, how is this for random thread derail?

    But is it just me, just where I live, or do you not see these amazing hourglass figures any more these days? I mean, a lot of these ladies are clearly toned, yet still have that total hourglass. Whilst I see loads of women, dancers included, with beautiful figures- I just don't see the hourglass.

    Anyway..ahem.. moving on

    /end derail.

    My guess? It's probably from the girdles and all those god-awful waist-cinching contraptions that they wore back then. It's the same reason why some people are into tightlacing to shrink their waists today.

    As for me? I'd rather be shaped like a hot dog and be comfy . But to each their own.

    I see some. I have a couple of students whose curves I totally envy.

    If I knew it would work, I'd wear it!

    Yeah, I'm not exactly sold.

    Plus, I have such a ridiculously low body fat percentage. There's nothing here to cinch! Perhaps, I should just admit defeat and get some of those tranny pads that make your hips and butt look bigger

    You should work what you've got! You are built more like Nejla Ates, who was very petite and her body leaned towards the athletic -

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucKDPh0uOjI]YouTube - Nejla Ates (Son of Sinbad , 1955)[/ame]

    What she does can work for you as well...
