photo shoot as a duo: how much to match?

i have my first photo shoot with my dance partner this weekend. i'm wondering how much other people have 'matched' eachother in photo shoots. we would do similar costuming, but what about hair and make up? should we try to do similar coloring and styling? can anyone post photos or direct me to a website with duo shots? off to google...

    thanks!

My partner and I just talked about similar shadow coloring and lashes, did hair in a similar style. I guess we're pretty matchy-matchy. ;)

The photo is a bit grainy here 'cause I blew up the postcard, but you get the idea...

when jindra and i were dance partners, we were very matchy matchy. same colors, same hair pieces, etc. we wore similar makeup tones but of course what was appropriate for our individual skin tones, in the same color family, but the same style of makeup

we did wear different styles of costume, because i had two purple and gold costumes but different style, haha
good luck with the shoot and please post pics

so cute! and i love how your make up 'matches' but is still what looks best for your skin tones.

this is what i'm pondering... i normally do my make-up very different from hers, and i think we need to be more in sync. she does the dramatic eyeliner and i do the dramatic eye shadow. she does very neutral/nude lips and i love a good red or pink! i thought that would funky if we're posing right next to each other.

thanks, Goldenpear! we did the photos ourselves with an automatic camera, setting it and then scrambling over into our spots to say "cheese!" :)
