Denver fabrics (Discount Fabrics: Fabric for Apparel, Home Decorating and More) is having an end of the season sale with free shipping.

Stretch lace is reduced to $3.95/yard. Swimsuit knits (lycra) and activewear (cotton spandex) are $4.95/yard. Silk chiffon and silk georgette us $5.95/yard.

Sounds like a good time to stock up!

have you bought from them before? how exact are the colors on the website compared to the color of the actual fabric?

Order swatches from them first. They have GREAT prices and the ship pretty fast, but sometimes what they list on the website is not accurate. (Note, I dont really think they mean to be misleading, but often things like 100% wool or 100% silk are not even close. . . )

Also, if you order two pieces of fabric that match and are meant to be used in the same project, make a note of that ON THE ORDER FORM. Why? Because if they sell out of one item, they will still ship the other and you will have one miserable battle to get them to take it back.
