Thread: Hair & Makeup for local news interview/performance?? Help!

So our troupe director and Yousry Sharif will be on our local news talking about our Saturday theatrical show. As part of the interview, myself and 3 other dancers will be performing for the news show.

How should I do hair & makeup?? I thought about having my hair done at a salon, and going to the MAC counter for makeup? Is it that big a deal? In the show, I'm wearing a 3/4 wig so sweat won't ruin my hair, plus we have a limited time to get ready before the show. But, for the news, I would rather go with my natural hair.

Are they shooting in HD? If so, I wouldn't mess around with DIY makeup. That's a job best left to MAC or a friendly local makeup artist!

I'd say it's a big deal! If you can afford it, go to MAC. Sit in the star's chair and let a makeup artist do all the work. Hair too if you can. Get catered to! Be a star this one time, in case it never happens again!

Be aware of foundation that has titanium dioxide in it because it reflects, and can make it appear as if your body is a different color from your face.
