Thread: Drugstore equivalent to Benefit She-laq?

Benefit She-laq is a makeup sealer like you'd put on top of your eyeliner, but is there anything equivalent at the drugstore? Is there any reason I shouldn't just try an alcohol-free and natural or organic brand of hairspray for the same purpose?

in a pinch, the clear top coat of a long lasting lipstick/gloss can work. be careful of hairspray around the eyes if it contains fragrance or any kind of acrylic polymers

Wow that would be fun to try. I use to use that product and enjoyed it but the brush got soo sticky and hard. I switched to the mist and fix by make up forever i beleive it was 22 $ for 4.22 oz and was purchased from Sephora: Beauty, Skin Care, Makeup, Hair, & Fragrance. Its really fast after i apply my makeup i spray it on and let it dry then lighly dust it with a translucent powder like the HD powder also from makeup forever. After sealing with theese two i can shower and it wont come off. ( an oilbased makeup remover easilly removes it. followed by a normal facial cleanser...) * an added bonus is this product works great when applied with a brush over eye makeup, or mixed with eyeshadow or pigments to create eyeliner or creamy eyeshadow...BTW!!! I use to work at sephora and if you go into a store and ask for a sample they are required to make you one, while your at it ask for 3. Dont let em hand you random fragrence samples either, PICK YOUR SAMPLES.. wahtever you want :)
