Thread: Sources for long sleeved body stocking?

Can anybody tell me where I can buy a nude mesh long sleeved body stocking? I'm toying with the idea of making a 'naked dress' costume (doesn't every dancer need one? ..g.:), and I want to embellish a body stocking to pair with a long elegant skirt.

I think Sugar Petals has light or white ones that you can dye. They are cut under the bust, though, which may not be what you are looking for. Sugar Petals Dance Accessories Custom Body Stockings

Thanks Dunyah, but I am looking for something cut higher, so that I can wear a nude bra underneath. I'll take a closer look at Sugar Petals though, maybe if I email them, they can help :)

You can purchase nude mesh almost anywhere. Here is a wonderful pattern that includes the body suit (zips up back) with several sleeve, neckline, and skit style options. Misc Patterns (6)

Yes I can. I used to make V neck fancy leotards all the time...g.:..g.:

Oh, me too! I'm really grateful to Souzan for the pattern lead, but I'm not having any luck finding the mesh. I guess I'll try online, but I prefer to see fabric before I buy.

Truthfully mesh is not everywhere only a few dealers carry it. Look for 4 way stretch, it is the best. I am always on the hunt.
