Spinoff . . . Backless Bras for Cholis???
I am searching for bras that can be worn UNDER a FCBD style backless choli. Here is the original thread.

I found this bra. Does anyone think it would work? Has anyone tried it? Does it stay in place?

THanks!

Re: Spinoff . . . Backless Bras for Cholis???
That bra is not good IMO, but I'm a D cup. I had one and I always got cup slippage by from lifting my arms. The only way I stopped it was to put tape on the bottom of the cups so they would attach to my skin. The only suggestion I have is to sew cups into the choli... or buy the bras that stick to your skin.

I would not suggest trying to dance in the bras that stick to your skin ...
unless you have a LOT more luck with them than I have had -
any sweat and they start slipping on me.

In till you sweet!! Then off gos the sticky and up slides the bra. I have not tried it for dance but I did something similar under a low backed brides maid dress once... did not work...

I have the same problem. D cup thing. I try to get away with keeping that choli tied pretty tight. I thought about that Maidenform one myself, but the people recommending it were like B cup.

I have tried that Maidenform bra - uhm, no way! It didn't even stay where it should when I didn't move.
But, there is an easy solution: I have stitched a bra into a choli, and cut off the back part that would have shown. Alternatively, you can fold that part under and stitch it into place.
And, I have also used a LRose choli bra as a bra under things when I am concerned about the look in the back, in my case, under sheer wrap tops. They do not have super-holding power, but combined with a Flying Skirts choli, that could do the trick.

I once sewed a strip of mirror cloth trim across the back of a bra so that I could wear it under a choli. The backless look is pretty but hard for us D cups to pull off, at least for those of us who are over 20 and have not been surgically enhanced, hehe.
