    peasant skirts

I went to Burlington Coat factory today and they have lots of the peasant skirts under $20.00 I got a couple for the summer and double duty for dance class.
I also got a pair of spandex in purple that match exactly a dance costume. This (I would never wear these ever in public alone) I plan to cut the legs and make them into dance shorts for under my costume. I got the idea while shopping in the store. It will be an experiment, never tried it before, not sure how they will turn out but sometimes I got to think outside my box.

Thanks for the heads up! I was just wishing for some lightweight skirts for class!

I've been eyeballing those skirts at Burlington! I thought about getting 2 of the same color to sew together to make maybe a 10yd skirt. I keep meaning to go in there with a tape measure to find out the bottom circumference. Wouldn't that be an amusing scene?
