sewing with fishnet???
I'm looking into making a top out of some hot pink fishnet material. It is 4 way stretch and the holes are a little larger than a #2 pencil. I have both a sewing machine and a serger . . .
So here is the question . . . has anyone ever sewed with fishnet? Is it difficult? Possible? Should I use a regular machine or a serger? What settings do I use?
Thanks a bunch!

Re: sewing with fishnet???
Hi,
Use the sewing machine.
You will need tissue paper, and scotch tape.
Place a piece of tape across the toes of your pressure foot (this will keep the toes from going into the fishnet holes.
Cut tissue into 1" strips.
Place tissue between fabric, and feeddogm Stitch. Gently tear away tissue, then you can serge the seam (don't use tissue when you serge).
