Thread: Pixi makeup

I need something light and sweat proof for summer. So I tried out some samples at Target and WOW! Bought the tinted moisturizer with concealer (concealer is in the cap, moisturizer in the tube) Both are SPF 20. And bought the cream to powder Flawless Foundation. Blended beautifully. Very luminous, soft. Its 95 degrees out and I went to a ladies tea and although I "glistened" and dapped my face with a tissue, no makeup came off on the tissue. So it truly is waterproof! The Pixi line includes gel blush, gel brow and eyeliner, and cream eye shadows. I don't think the coverage is enough for me for full stage makeup but certainly for everyday and for outdoor shows. At lot lighter feeling that my usual Max Factor Pan Stick and Ben Nye stage makeup!

Pixi also has an interesting eye sculpting kit with three shades of concealer and highlighter for the eyes, undereyes, browbone. Tried all of it out on the back of my hand and it covered the freckles and age spots so smoothly that my hands looked 20 years younger!

If you go to Target's website there are videos you can watch that explain the products and how to use them. I think I am going to like this stuff!
