I love Walgreen's too! I can spend hours in there.

I got unrealistically pissed off when CVS decided to open a store within three blocks of EVERY Walgreen's in town. I felt like it was a really predatory practice, and I can't even describe how protective I felt toward Walgreen's then. I still don't go to CVS very often.

The only thing better was Phar Mor but I guess they went out of business? That was a sad day. ,f::

So glad to hear I'm not the only one! Our walgreens is just a hop, skip, and jump from my house, which makes it even better!!!

Down here, the CVS's came before the Walgreen's. It was the Walgreen's who opened up across the street from the CVS's and Eckerds (rite aid). Funny how that happens.

Oh yes, I have fond memories of Pharmor. When I was a kid my best friend and I would walk across the highway to the big strip mall with the Pharmor (ah..growing up in the South). This was before the days of Target and Super walmarts. Kmart was still queen. But man, we would spend hours in there. It was the size of a grocery store. :)

Back to topic...I'm gonna go to Walgreen's tomorrow!
