the art of UN-glam :p
sorry to be MIA....LOTS of issues since my original computer blew up :p
well, one of the cooler things lately is that i've been involved in theater and got to put into practice the art of UNglamming! WHAT FUN!
the first show i did with them was 'funny thing happened on the way to the forum, which was glam city!' then got cast for chorus and moor's dance in 'man of la mancha'....TOTALLY different vibe! director wanted MESS!.....jacked up hair, pale, dirty faces, the whole nine, since we're all prisoners of the spanish inquisition......i thought WOW, this'll be easy
wroooong! in fact, it takes JUST as much time to grunge as it does to glam.....this 'new' computer doesn't let me play with pics to post on bhuz, but here's a link to my facebook pics :p

thanks to azhia, i learned to back-comb and spray the crap out of my superfine, super straight hair, so it doesn't automatically revert to normal, and used black shadow for the dirt(tho discovered burnt cork is an old, cool theater trick :p ), and burgundy under the eye to look rheumy. some used liner to funk up their teeth n nails..even let a breakout show, i mean hell, we're in JAIL, gotta look scabrous, right?
NOW! ladies, gents....anyone else got fun, funky unglam to share? zombie fusion perhaps, your own theatrical fun? a purposeful unglam show? let's hear and see!

Great effects! I liked the Facebook comment, "Clean face, dirty mind." LOL!

nothing to share (though I spose I could take a pic and qualify as un-glam, been gardening for a few hours...) just thought I'd say you look great!

Those are great pics!
I was recently in a play in which I played a woman in her late 70s. Don't have any decent pics, but I had to spray gray on my (already dyed) red hair, and it was nasty!
