    ISO stretch chiffon

Is there such a thing as stretch chiffon? I tried some googling, but didn't come up with anything, which left me confused. Usually Google does not fail me ;-) I also do not recall ever having seen anything like it at my local JoAnn (which of course does not say too much, as their target audience is a bit different).

I would like to make a wrap-style top with drop sleeves (similar to the top in my avatar, but made to match a Pharaonics Arabesque skirt), and was thinking that stretch chiffon may be a good idea for a slightly more fitted fit with freedom of movement.

That fabric must exist - but what do I search for?

Chiffon is stretch if it is cut on the bias. But you might think about using stetch mesh instead.

I'm with Souzan; stretch mesh came to mind as soon as I saw the subject line of your post. You can find stretch mesh that drapes similarly to chiffon, and as an added bonus, mesh doesn't fray like chiffon does. To make it coordinate with your Arabeqsue skirt, maybe add a quarter circle panel of the mesh to the slit(s) in the skirt.
