i got, and you all probably did too, the latest chinese knock off costume spam. morbid curiosity, and being on hold, got the better of me and i looked.

they didn't even take the pharonix label out of the original they display as their own product bold

Wow, that sure is bold. It is crazy to see people stealing the designs of others, how can they possibly think that is appropriate?

rania and necklemann's got back to me and said they would contact them. it seems like they just googled 'belly dance costumes' and copied from everyone!! what creeps me out the most is that there are kids on that site..idk if those r their models or not tho but if not, yeesh!

Why don't you show drawngs that custumers made and the resulting original costumes?

Helping people realise their own designs is cool, copying other designers is not cool.

it's not borrowing, it's stealing. none of these vendors/dancers knew that they had their pictures up on your website no matter what foolish copyright notice you had there. if you're going to make these costumes, have your OWN pictures, not others. none of these sites steal from each other, they have their own pictures. and please don't PM me any more about this.

This is the same BS as what luxorbazar on ebay was doing. They even stole some of my photos. Ridiculous! Do they really think we wouldn't notice all the famous designers work listed?

I also wouldn't feel comfortable ordering off a website featuring such poor grammar and spelling. I understand issues with english as a second language but have someone fluent proof read please!

Someone in China owns or borrows a bunch of high end and some apparently really low end costumes and photographs them on their own and are claiming they can make them. Because most of the photos look like they were done on the same mannequin and in the same place.

Some photos do come from famous dancers, we got them from the Internet. The costumes are designed by other company, but none of you could display the original pictures to show that they are designed by yourself. For the purpose of honest and faith, we removed those photos and won't place it again, please continue to supervise us. We will design more and more beautiful, fashionable styles, wish you like them.
