Thread: skirt trouble...

the school doctor said that i would stop growing. what a charlatan...i ordered a 90cm mermaid skirt with chiffon gores that completely covered my ankle when i got it, and now, about 2 and a half months later my whole ankle is visible when i'm wearing it!!! plus it rides up easily (to show even more damn leg) because the part where the gores start (knee-joint height) is now almost mid-thigh!
help me! do i have to order a new skirt and sell this or is there some magical sneaky way to make it a few cms longer?

You or a seamstress can make a new waistband to add the necessary length. You can add fabric to the top as long as you can cover it with your belt.

Or sew a ruffle on the bottom in a complementary fabric.

Or make a chiffon underskirt if it'll work with the style.
