Thread: Bloody Brilliant Shoes!

I was getting my morning dose of Haute Macabre (dark fashion blog) and I saw a post on the most amazing/simple/brilliant shoe ever. They are these cute little ballet shoes that they sell out of vending machines in nightclubs. So when your feet hurt too bad from those killer heels (or you are too drunk to perch on top of your killer heels!) you can slip these on. They even come with a bag to carry your dangerous shoes home in. So far the vending machines are only in UK clubs, but they sell them off of their Web site too, rollasole.com.

Of course, my first though was, I wonder how they would be to dance in. And they come in the most important three colors, gold, silver, and black:) I'm sure the longevity is low, but since I currently dance in China flats (when I can't go barefoot) I am accustomed to semi-disposable shoes.

Awesome idea! I brought two pairs of shoes to my prom, the first flats for dinner, the second heels for dancing with my uber-tall date!

Not that we did much dancing to the live rap band..w.:

Its a fantastic idea!! They wouldn't wash in Italy though, Italian women are blessed with this astounding ability to spend all night in skyscraper heels. (Needless to say, I am not one of them ..l;,) I can't imagine anyone in Milan ditch their heels at the end of the night to walk home in flats, its just not the done thing! Looking forward to my move to England (and being able to walk home in comfier shoes!) in September!
