How much should I sell this 38-40" Nickled Brass/Red beads belt for?
I could really use some help here. I have had this belt for two years but have never used it, as I didn't realize I'd need to sew it or attach it to something.
It is just like the belt in this picture except the beads are red and not black. One of the red beads have fallen off (it came with extra beads and I would send them with it) and it looks a little vintage, as it came that way. Also, the front and back part are not attached like the belt in this picture.
Belt for Belly Dance, Mixed Brass, Black Beads 36 inch Belt for belly dance. Includes replacement parts. Made in India. /Percussion Instruments/Belly Dance Accessories
Now that I know how to upload pic's I'll take some of the actual belt to post. Thanks so much!

If you've never used it and it has no/little damage sell for what you paid. :)

You can ask for what you paid, or for what it sells for new (they have this style on Amazon as well as e-bay so you can see the asking price), especially if you're not in a hurry to sell. Some people are more trusting of a fellow Bhuzzer than of a vendor -- especially if they don't have much experience with a vendor who carries the item -- and will happily buy it here for full price.
Things don't always resell for the new price. Some of us figure we can pay that price to buy it from a vendor, where we can easily exchange it if it doesn't fit or whatever, and there's no risk. But if you've got time, you can start by asking full price and drop your price later if it doesn't sell.
If you're looking for a quick sale, I'd say price it at 75-80% of the new price. That's what I usually do for items I've 'driven off the showroom floor.'

Very much what I wanted to say!
I must say I never pay full price from a "used" seller (even if they never danced in it) when I can have it for the exact same price from the new items seller..
although for some with bad experience in the past buying from a trusted dancer might sometimes be more trustworthy than from an importer .p::
