Thread: Bead Fringe supply?

I have always bought my fringe for new projects from an Egyptian supplier off of Ebay.

No problem with them themselves- good price, which helps when our currency is so poor, and previously got within 5 days.

But this time I had an absolute hell of a time getting it, due to all sorts of [I am pretty sure illeagal] shennanigans via customs. I ended up having to play close to 4x the original cost just to get it released- originally, they had wanted, and I joke you not, 10x the amount!

I am disgusted with the way this was handled by both courier companies involved, and as I presume this supplier will use them again, I am loathe to order again. Where else can I source fringing when I next need?

Bear in mind I am in South Africa, not America, so it would have to be order in.

Oh, how frustrating. Ezma started a thread a little while ago about fringe sources. I listed several sources I use for fringe. I'm not sure about International shipping, but it may be worth a look. Here's a link to that thread:

I used to buy it from Shaharazade Imports ....... she is a vendor at Rakkasah and advertises extensively.

Oh, and I think Turquoise International carries it as well?
