Thread: Urgent Bra Help Needed!

I just finished my first totally reconstructed bra project, but something is not quite right, it feels like it will come up over "the girls" when I raise my arms. The back of the bra is the criss cross/O-ring method. (Ribbons with O rings attached at the side of each cup, top straps go over shoulders, x in the back and through O ring then tie.) This is my first try at bra construction, I generally just cover the bra and resew the straps in the normal bra fashion.

I was careful to place the side ribbons at the same places as the original bra had the back attached, but it still has a riding up feeling when my arms are up, and it rides up in the back as well. I am "goddess sized."

Any help would be greatly appreciated! This is for a performance tomorrow (Tuesday)!

Is the ribcage band tight enough? Or too tight? Those would be the main reasons for it riding up.

the ribcage band is adjustable via how you tie the shoulder straps... But, and it just occurred to me that this could be the problem, the center front of the bra is flexible.... Any thoughts on that?
