Will False eyelashes stand up to heat and perspiration?

I'm debating whether to wear them for our folk dance at MED fest this weekend and want to practice. Will they stay on in the heat?

For a newbie at lashes, what shape is the best (I'm 42) The spiky, uneven kind or the shorter more conservative kind?

Oh yeah, I only find Ardel kits with their own brand of adhesive, but no duo adhesive where can you buy duo?

Wear them to class first, or for a few hours at home...they take a bit of getting used to. Get the whispy ones first.

absolutely you can wear them. the waterproof duo clear is the best glue imo. i like the long tapered (longer lashes on outer corner) but depends on the character you are creating. spiky will create more of a fantasy look because it is an unnatural shape. duo can be purchased in most local drug stores, from a mac makeup counter or on line. make sure its waterproof.

I would choose a couple of different styles and test them out for a few hours at home or class. Shoot, you could even put them on and mow the yard. lol It would definitely show you how well they would stand up to heat and sweat and you'd feel a little bit glam while doing yard work!

Oh yeah, is it easy to remove the waterproof adhesive? Don't want to rip out my own lashes.

I don't know if mine is waterproof or now, but I imagine eye makeup remover would take it off. Even with regular glue, you probably use a dab of makeup remover on them before you take them off.

Ah, they're fun & easy. Have fun with them! The only hard part is getting them on the first time :-)

You can even swim in the durn things if you use the duo waterproof. You won't pull your lashes out, but I do sometimes find remnants of glue in odd places up to a week later....
