Thread: Tinnitus (ringing in ears and hearing loss)

I'm trying to be good and take vitamins (magnesium, C and ginkgo mostly), eat right, think positive thoughts, meditate and try to loose weight - if that doesn't do it I may go to get hypnosis or find a D.O. I've noticed that I am clinching my jaw at night so I'm trying to relax it when I can. It's a rough time not being able to find a job with the holidays coming up and all. Good luck Genie.

My husband takes magnesium also. I also read that COQ 10 is good for ringing. So I just started him on that....he tried acupuncture a couple of years ago but didn't find any relief after about 4 sessions so he quit it. All his drs. of course say there is no cure....so we keep trying different remedeys! That is stressful with no job which doesn't help matters for you! I hope you find something!

by chance are you on any medications? tinnitus is a side effect of certain medications

it could also be an ear infection in early stages

i have frequent tinnitus and one doc told me it was related to allergy attacks i get in the desert..go figure
