Can someone help me find a halter top pattern?
Hi Ladies and Gents!
I have a very difficult time finding costumes I like, so I'm determined to get better at sewing so I can make my own. To that end, I'm looking for a simple halter pattern -- two triangles and a band, with a tie back -- that I can make. I like how Black Lotus tops look on me, and Ozma had a halter in some of her photos that I liked the look of too. It can't be THAT hard, even for a noob, right? Can anyone point me to a good, simple halter pattern?
Thank you in advance! :)
Happy shimmies,
Eve

Like this kind of bikini-style top on Simplicity 4192?

Many regular blouse patterns can also be converted to dance tops by shortening them and putting an elastic casing along the bottom. Unless you have a side or back zipper, it should be fairly straightforward to crop most halter patterns.
