Thread: my cups runneth over

hi- I bought this gorgeous dress a little while back, and am planning to wear it this weekend, and my boobs are too big for the cups! it's not HORRIBLE, but they definitely are getting squished in a way that isn't the prettiest. does anyone have any quick fixes for reshaping boobs? tape? I'm doing whatever I can to make the top as big as possible, but the cups are heavily beaded, and the beads are sewn into the interior bra, so it's more about moving around what I've got.

You can add to the top and sides of the cups using the headband for the dress or some matching or contrasting fabric. Another thing to do would be to make a mesh piece to attach to the top of the cups and the bra staps covering the cleavage.

You can put another wire (like the underwire) around the top of the cups to make them keep a more rounded shape instead of pulling flat across your boobs.

if there are straps, maybe you can try to move the straps around to shape and stretch the bra better.

thanks for the advice. I've managed to loosen the top band, the worst squisher, and also, lost a few pounds this week, and the two together seem to make it manageable.

and then I saw this picture of some celebrity who is wearing a dress that is doing the same thing to her boobs, only she seems happy about it, so I'm going to go with that. these squished boobs? they are supposed to be that way.
