Coins for Costumes - What have you used?

I'd like to find some shiny gold coins for trimming a bra and hip wrap. What have you used that you have liked?

    Other threads I've read:

    Dancing Rahanas is good.

They have silver, gold and copper colored coins. You can also purchase them on ebay in gold and silver. I couldn't find copper and ended up at Rahana's.

I bought a huge bag of coins years ago from King of the Nile (I think). I still have tons left. If you look in my gallery you can see them on a leopard costume I made. I'd be happy to share them with you if you pay for shipping.

OK so they're not gold tone, but if you're looking for real coins, I've been very pleased with the kuchi coins that I've bought from Sirik on eBay.

I appreciate all of the suggestions! I'm debating between real and imitation coins. I think real might be too heavy for what I have in mind. There are a couple of options here that might work - <CENTER> Nature's Gems coins.

You might look on Ebay too, Kiyaana. There are several vendors that sell both real and imitation coins. I've even seen some of the discontinued Saroyan coins there on occasion.
