Best use of fake flowers on a costume...please contribute

I'm looking at making a really cute, fantasy feeling costume incorporating fake flowers and I was wondering if y'all had some inspiration to share? Any really great costumes with fake flowers?

I have a Pharaonics with big fabric peonies (at least I think they're meant to be peonies) on it. They have fringe and rhinestones sewn onto them! ..g.: Go to Dahlal and search for "Beauty in Bloom". It also comes with one of the big peonies (that you can see on the hip and in the centre of the bra) on a little hair comb to put in your hair... my hair was too crazy to keep the comb in, so I got the flower sewn onto the side of the headband. I love it!

Zafirah has a gorgeous lilac Eman that has little fabric flower petals on it. Very subtle, and utterly gorgeous. I'm sure she's posted pics (or video) featuring it before...

This could be a different sort of take on the flower motif--using petals or small flowers for long streamers on the belt: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5B-EJRsu_E]YouTube - Ra'asa Suheir Zaki[/ame] (She actually has paillettes on her belt, but you could do it with small silk blossoms, and I think someone already has...LOL, or maybe I'm thinking of something I saw for a luau decoration at the party store....) I know there is a video of a major old-school dancer wearing a flowered costume that I watched not too long ago, but I can't find it in my history The bra and belt were covered with small flowers, so that the entire surface was almost tufted with them. It showed up in a recent thread, but I can't locate it now.

One thing about flower costumes--if you do veil/fan work or a wear a Khaleeji thobe as part of a long set, you need to be conscious of the profile. Big silk flowers look cool when you're standing still, but the more they stick up, the more likely they'll snag on other fabric. Dondi sometimes embellished her costumes with silk flowers, and I have a very vivid memory of watching her gracefully sidetrack her dance routine to unhook herself from a silk lily while she was performing a couple of years ago. At the very least, you may want to consider deconstructing your silk flowers: replace any prominent stamens with lower-sitting beads or pompoms, detach leaves and sew them well underneath the blossoms, ditch any snaggy plastic calyxes, etc. You may lose some of the 3-D effect, but it's easier for dancing.

This is a very simple use of fake flowers, but I think Evgenia Kopteva's costume is gorgeous and elegant:

Leyla Jouvana has one as well, if you scroll a bit:

Another minimalist use of flowers from Didem, or at least I think that's a little black flower on her hip:
