    Dance shoes (heels)

Following on from the thread recommending that dancers perform in heels, which dance shoes do you wear/recommend? I remember this site being recommended by a bhuzzer, and I'm considering the pair on the link, as I haven't yet seen any I prefer the look of significantly more even in way more expensive ranges:

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm a shortie so would like to at least try pair with a higher heel (plus I prefer the look of either a higher latin shoe if not dancing with bare feet).

I've purchased three pairs of ballroom heels from TNT dance designs and have been very happy with the price, fit, comfort and durability.

Oo, those are hot. I think the ones I bought were all out of their Latin collection. They were all priced in the mid 50's. I've got gold, black and silver. I've even worn mine outdoors with evening wear for a night out. You're not supposed to do that with ballroom shoes, but I have and their still hanging in there.

Wow, I never knew they were so expensive! I usually dance barefoot or with some flat heeled sandals but for high heels I think you would definitely a well made shoes, so I guess that is where the higher price comes from.

I've loved the shoes I've gotten from EK Clothing, most pairs are very affordable:

I wear a pair of Bold Expressions shoes, I bought them from Tina Sargent. You can find her thread in the retail swap meet, or you can order them custom via that link.

Hi! I think the thread you mentionned was about wearing shoes... not necessarily heels.

I also think these are the shoes I recommended. I own the pair on the link and I love them. Even if they are cheap, they are very conformtable. I can wear them for 4 gigs in a row :) I've had expensive pairs too. The quality of the material is better but honestly I like the cheap ones better. They feel good the first time you put them on.

But I "need" way to many pairs to pay the big price everytime. And I dance so much I have to change them too frequently. And you never know how "clean" floors will be.

    I hope this helps :)
