Since we are on the same eating plan, Dunyah, they have those snack packs. They don't have so many carbs and sugar. People laugh at my little quarter size snacks. Just don't do Entermann's they might have 100 calories, but too many carbs.

You can add things to it, like a little fruit, low sugar/fat whip cream, and nutts. I am sure that you read labels and you can make a desert with 2 carb exchanges, protien, and a little fat (I still get to eat it, just not so much). I like the Little Debbie Chocalate snack cakes. I can make a dessert and it is in my carb exchange range. Yay! Just keep them in your freezer and they will be there for whenever.

I can control myself not to eat the whole box, lmao! ..l;, Which, I don't think I could ever do before.

My biggest problem is stress. When I'm less stressed I find it easier to take better care of myself, but when my brain is fried all those extra efforts you do for your health kind of fall to the wayside, not to mention the actual physical effects you suffer as a direct cause of stress. I hate my stressful job that sucks so much out of my life and is detrimental to my health on multiple levels, but I'm working on something better.

LOL, I'm sitting on an acre and a half at the moment but we're overrun with deer, rabbits and assorted critters....there's no point to even attempt much in the way of landscaping much less set out a buffet ..l;,

I made a comment to a neighbor about starting a compost pile and he cracked up...apparently compost (and even birdfeeders!) are known "bear magnets"

Ugh, I hate job stress. I used to have a job I hated and now that I am doing something completely different, my stress level is way down. Life still happens but at least I don't have that daily onslaught. Hope it gets better for you soon! It's a Catch-22 - you need to take good care of yourself because of the stress, but the stress keeps you from doing things you need to do for yourself. Hope that changes soon! Until then, don't forget to breathe. Shallow breathing goes along with stress, and deep breathing can help relieve it.

the sad thing is, the older you get, the less you should eat if you want to maintain the same (small or otherwise) size. i'm a size 14 normally. only 5' 6" ; mostly people don't believe i'm that big a size. want to lose weight because i am growing out of my clothes. also i am not really that old yet. so i know, better lose it now, before i get a lot older, or it will be next to impossible. hard to think of staying size 14 as a goal.... but that would be good! how i would love to be size 10 again. not very likely. despite yoga, pilates, zumba, walking, crunches, belly dance.... of course, then i wouldn't have boobs! belly dancing makes being a little larger a bit more pleasant. a lot of moves don't look right unless you have a bit of belly to shake.

No sugar, very few carbs, Atkins-style, but with no fruit, no sugar, no juice, that's what works for me. I'm telling you, people really think I'm weird. I eat veggies, but not the high-fructose ones. I allow myself some chips & Ezekiel 7-9 bread at night. Lately I've been allowing myself too many bites of bread or chips, & that has sabotaged me. So, back to the drawing plan. It's hard, but, if I follow it, I feel way better too, as well as fitting into my smaller clothes.

A lot of times I play this head game with myself. When I want something fattening, I tell myself, "later on." Usually later on I forgot that I wanted it earlier and then I don't necessarily want it anymore.

And then there is PMS - which is a much bigger adversary than any of the other things I'm reading here <sigh>
