    You have been doing so well for a long time!

    I always start out at the beginning of the month doing so well and then I fall off the wagon. Not losing any ground but not reaching my goals either - my own fault because I tend to overextend myself and then I get tired and lose my momentum. Maybe in September. . .,f::

    It isn't easy... lol, since most of my friends are always eating something I want.

    Who posted Chocolate Cake on Facebook yesterday? lmao!!!

    I haven't been around much temptation either, besides the grocery store. I have only been to a few BBQs, where I only ate the salad. I just hope when I go back to work, that I eat what I have in my lunch box and not buy what everyone else is eating (take out).

    I buy those Lil Debbie 100 calorie snacks and stick them in the freezer.

    My nutritionist has me count carb exchanges, so they only equal 1.

    My friends laugh because they are the size of a lady finger, lmao! And the Hostess ones work too, but they are a little pricey. The cupcakes are the size of quarters, in a row of three.

    Learning to be content with smaller portions is a big part of the battle. I am so proud of you for reaching your goal!

    I was going to say "staying the course" but it reminded me too much of Dubya and I didn't want to nauseate you!

    Oh, Fotia, I still have a ways to go. Trying to get rid of the weight I gained while working third shift when doing travel nursing. Baby steps.

    ok, I'm going back to a no - carb diet. It always worked for me. The only problem is that if you say no to carbs, you have to say goodbye to them forever.
    So because of that, I have been eating some carbs and tried to loose some weight like that, but it's really not happening. Maybe because I really wasn;t watching it and ate more bread than before. But all I really need to loose is 5-6 lbs and I'll be happy.

    So only protein, fruits, veggies - the only carbs I will allow are the ones with high fiber: beans, peas and hummus, etc. I think this will work. Other than that I always eat healthy, no junk food, no sweets, I don't even eat a lot!! Very frustrating. So I am blaming it on the bread (I noticed that I always blame things on others, like costumes and now bread :)

    I got back on my treadmill the 1st of the month and have stuck to it so far almost daily. Last week I did a cleansing bath and the next morning on my treadmill I started slow and then did 25 minutes straight at the speed that I was only popping up to for 2 minutes at a time prior. I have maintained that now for 3 days! I am very excited at my progress - this keeps my heart rate up for a much longer time. I have also given up alcohol as it was really poisoning my body. I haven't posted here before as I didn't know how it would go but I am so proud of myself now and think that sharing might just keep me going, if you know what I mean.

    Yay Surida. I'm so happy for you.

    Today was weigh-in day for me. I've lost 4.5 pounds this month. I'm quite pleased with this progress. Even better, I was able to get into my skinny jeans. They're still a bit snug, but wearable. I'm looking to lose another 3 - 8 pounds and I'll be quite pleased.
