Hair, there and hip replacement
OK, I'm going to get a hip replacement. I'm waiting for a "24-hour" which is fairly new in America (apparently NOT in Europe) that's minimally invasive, takes only on overnight in hospital, and only two weeks of limited activity. I'm feeling much better about the prospect now; if nothing else, it means I can sleep without drugs.
But my husband mentioned something and I'm too embarrassed to ask my Doctor, or God help us, my Mother (who has a replacement). No-not that! The return to an active sex life is in the faqs. It's this: will I have my Lady Garden shaved before surgery? Bacause if yes, I'll do it myself starting now (I've got a 3 month wait) to avoid to itches.
Anyone know?

I've had a hip replacement, in 2002, although not the quickie version you describe - there was no shaving of the Lady Garden in my case, if that's any comfort to you! Let me know if you have any other questions for one who's gone down the Bionic road and lived to dance again. . .

I don't know the answer about the Lady Garden. But I do know a dancer who has had BOTH hips replaced. She still teaches, directs a troupe, and performs!

It depends on if the hair is in the way of the procedure. If you don't have much don't worry about it. They usually don't use shaving cream and a razor. It is sort of like the electric ones.
Good luck with your surgery and have an excellent recovery.

My friend is having that operation right now, actually! Literally, as I write this. She has been looking forward to it and is excited about the healing time.
I don't think you need to worry about shaving, the surgery is so minimally invasive and not near that region.
Good luck and hope your surgery goes well.
