    i might be imagining this..

Does anyone remember our discussions on plantar fascitis?

many months ago I was having really bad foot and arch pain, so painful that it hurt to walk..we were living on the big island of Hawaii at the time. I wear flip flops frequently so stopped wearing them, it seemed to help a bit but I'd still have bad days. Previous to living on the big island we lived in Waikiki and I wore flip flops constantly and never experienced the PF.

When we moved back to Oahu in April..since then I have had one episode of PF pain ..I wear flip flops all the time, walk long distances in them, walk in the sand a lot.

Why do you think I'm no longer having problems? Could it have anything at all to do with weather? It was cooler and rainy, moldy, overcast on big island and most days in Waikiki are sunny and warm/hot.

    Just wondering

Yes, moldy humid weather has a lot to do with muscle pain and/or previous injuries. I am amazed at how much better I feel in general when it is warm and dry.
