Has anyone purchased mod. bellbottoms from L.Rose?
Hi! I'm considering ordering some cotton/lycra modified bellbottom pants from L. Rose designs. I'm looking for overall feedback on performance & comfort of pants, customer experience with company, etc.
I thought I'd ask you ladies since the last couple of times I've bought practice pants I've wasted my money. They either pull down at the waist, sport lots of snags and look terrible, or they have a close encounter with my husband and the dryer, lol ;)
(That last one happens especially if I really like them. I swear the guy has radar.....and likes the high heat setting ..cr.:.)

I have a pair of their full bellbottoms that I love. As for the company, they are my absolute favorite place to buy dance clothes from for performance or practice. They have excellent customer service, excellent quality, I just love them!

I have some of the modified bellbottoms in silver metalskin. I have only worn them twice for performances but I really like them so far :-) Here is a pic.

I have two pairs of the full bell bottoms and 2 of the modified. I love them all. I have them in different fabrics. They all wash very well. No complaints on any of the LRose items. Just got a pair of capris from her ( basic black velvet ). they're great, too.

Love all my LRose stuff. I prefer the modified bellbottoms because in my opinion, the full ones are a little much unless you are really tall. But I have some full ones, too, and they are fun.

Re: Has anyone purchased mod. bellbottoms from L.Rose?
I have tons of l rose stuff and I love it all.
I have (well, had) a pair of black cotton/lycra modified bells and they ended up not being my favorite items. note that this is just my taste, but I think that fabric is too light to weigh down the bells so they hung kind of funky and a little too short on me. I would have liked them much better as regular jazz pants. the fabric itself, though, is nice for dance class - light and breathable.
maybe the'd be better with chiffon gores? I have an awesome pair of gold metalskin full bells with chiffon gores and they are the sh*t. ;) they give me camel toe, though, so I have to wear a little skirt over them.
I ended up cutting my black cotton pair into booty shorts and I wear them all the time now. ;) great for summer! lol!

Re: Has anyone purchased mod. bellbottoms from L.Rose?
I got a pair of black velvet modified bells about 5 years ago. These are my 'go to' pants for teaching and practice (and sometimes end up under my fuller skirts when I need modesty). They've been washed and dried about once a week. The only wear they show is a little fading at the knee.
Love L Rose

I haven't ordered bell bottoms but I've ordered a lot of other things and I am very satisfied with everything that I've ever purchased from them.

Girl, don't let a camel toe come between you and fabulousness: https://www.cuchini.com/
Between this and the funky exercise devices I've seen posted here recently, the 'net has all our every possible needs covered. ..l;,

LMAO!!!
Well, in some cases (like the front man of Ratt) all they would have had to do was to remove the sock stuffed down in the jeans. *g* (Mind you, this is hearsay from a friend of mine who used to do sound for a venue back home.)
sorry for the threadjack!
