Question Help I need a really supportive sports bra

Okay I have been searching and searching for something that isn't $50 that is a very supportive sports bra. I have been losing weight and have already spent enough money on bras just to end up wearing them for like 3 months at a time. I notice when I dance that um, well needless to say they aren't staying there and when I work out well it doesn't feel so good either.

My breasts have changed after having the baby and I need support. It doesn't not have to be a nursing sports bra, because in reality I will not breastfeed right after exercising. I just get too sweaty. It would help that it doesn't poke out of my leotards, but if anything I will wear a wrap sweater to cover.

Any suggestions for something that won't break the bank?

I picked up an underwire one by Champion and love it. But I still double up with either another bra or a very supportive tank.

I use the Shockabsorber sports bra to run in. They come in several different styles and you can get them from Figleaves.com - they won an award for best sports bras from the readers of runner's world magazine.

I understand wanting to save money, but you really need to get a good sports bra-it's so important. I would rather spend more money now and sag less later.
    Enell is really good.
Maybe go to a running store? I have had good luck there.
    Or double (triple?) up.

Good luck! If you find anything inexpensive, let us know!

First of all...congrats for breastfeeding! :)

I wear Lilyette (Maidenform) In-Motion sports bras and I love them. No uni-boob, underwire and they are supportive and comfortable. :) They cost about $38.

    Excellent suggestions...

As for the breastfeeding I only do it part-time. Have to supplement, he didn't gain enough weight at his 2 month visit.

Literally, I must of spent like $500 on bras already. Not use to that. Hmmm, wonders if I can add that on my tax return. ..l;,

I wear a racer back bra (Wacoal is the best brand I have found so far although Maidenform used to make a good one as well,) with a sports bra and it seems to do the trick.

What size are you? The reason I ask, is that if you're relatively small (a 34 c/36 B or smaller), you can get a good bra at target by Champion. They make two versions, one they sell at the Target, the other is sold at running stores. I have both, the only difference I have noticed between the 2 is the price (about $15.00 at Target and 30+ at the running store) and the location and color of the logo. I wear my running long distances and I'm a 34 B usually, sometimes a C.

Bras, panties, lingerie, men's underwear, plus size bras at Bare Necessities lets you search by type and size and I've gotten several bras there that I like a lot... and they often have sales going on.

    I am a 40DD right now.

I have tried most of the stores suggested. I guess I will have to spend what I have been spending on a good bra, or double up on the cheapies.

my suggestion then is to go to a running store. They'll be pricey but, at least in my experience, the sales people really know their stuff (even the men) and you can try the stuff on and run around the store in it to make sure it's the right one for ya.
