Thread: Big Fringe Costume Photos, Please...

Looking for inspiration: I've got a costume I need to complete, but I'm stuck. Saw a gorgeous Abla on a colleague a while back -- Mom said, "I just LOVE those fringe-y costumes..." (nag nag nag). So thought I'd kill two birds -- make Mom happy by wearing uber-fringe, and finally get this dratted costume off my table.

So please -- post photos of your fringe monsters! Any advice as to fringe placement on a bra would be most appreciated, as well. THANKS! -- maia

Is it that gold, white bead on the gold eyelash fabric? I always liked that project. There wasn't a bra with that one was it? You were asking like $115 for it?

Sadly, no, I believe that was Yolanda's beautiful costume...and I finally finished my silver/gold fringe monster. Would still LOVE to see people's fringey costumes, tho. :D

I have a fringe monster in progres, but haven't finished covering the bra yet, let alone decorating it. It will have foot long fringe all over though!

Mh - I have this Mdme Abla up for sale at the moment. It has lots of fringe.

You could take out yourself! I first wore that costume when that photo was taken. The first time I spun, I almost knocked myself out. After that, I quickly learned to plant my weight solid when I stopped the spin and let the beads swirl around me.

This vintage Bella has fringe on the bra, belt, gauntlets, skirt... It is very heavy and audiences love it!
