    Historical reproduction beauty products

I hope that it's okay to post this here...my friend and fellow dancer, Sasheen, started a new beauty products business this summer! She's making historical reproduction products like cleansing scrubs, hand creams, powders, and lip salves. Most of her ingredients are organic, and she's added some accessories to her line as well. I'm super excited for her! :D

I'm personally enjoying the pomatum, hair oil (not really oil, it just makes my hair shiny), kohl, and white lip salve right now. If anyone is interested, here's her website: Ageless Artifice: Body Care Products From Ages Past.

    Best website copy EVAH:

The alabaster jar is stoppered with a cork. The ancient Egyptians used a dried reed, but we have so far been unable to find a suitable reed to use. We apologize for the anachronism.

Aw... thanks, Sitara! And I'm glad you're enjoying my products. I was especially hoping the Ancient Egyptian line would be useful to belly dancers; I've got another product in the works, one that is both a rouge and lip color! Stay tuned...
