Cover up shopping
I am just full of shopping questions as of late....bear with me.
I have seen some really pretty cover ups around lately and now I want one that I didn't make and isn't falling apart.
Where do you all find non-seethrough, opens in the front, pretty cover ups? Most I am finding are transparent or don't open in the front. Help a girl shop here! (Totally open to seeing if you all have something in the plus size range you are looking to get rid of as well!)

Re: Cover up shopping
I found one that I really liked, but it didn't open in the front. All I did was cut it up the center and add a zipper. It solved my need for really cheap money.

I got one at Belly Dance Costume & Dancing Supply with Moondance. It didn't cost an arm and a leg, and it was opaque with some embroidery on the front. I wish it had a zipper but it goes over my head instead. I've had it for a couple of years and I'm satisfied still.

Re: Cover up shopping
Check 2nd hand stores, consignment shops, vintage places. You are in a hotbed of them! ..g.:

Re: Cover up shopping
I bought my favorite coverup from Sharazade Imports (sp?) at Rakkasah. The website is a bit old-fashioned (and one has to call to inquire about colors). I paid ~$100, and then added snaps myself to replace the little loop-and-ball thingies. It was pricey, but I feel it was a good purchase. Vintage/consignment places can be great, depending on where one lives (D.C. -> YES, Pittsburgh -> nope)

Re: Cover up shopping
There are a few on ebay, but it takes a bit of sifting through the lots that are just V-necks, are ugly, are translucent, etc.
