So, I have a really bad herniated disk and am on my way to surgery. Then, I see this commercial about Antalgic Trak. It looks like a really advanced traction machine.

Welcome Home

So . . . When I initially herniated my disc, I went through pt and had traction and it really helped. Then, I fell and the disk came out even further. I tried the pt and traction again, but had no help this time. I have had two cortisone epidurals, and neither worked, so my dr. referred me to a surgeon.

Since traction did not help this time, I am hesitant to spend even more money on yet another "experiment" to get rid of my pain. However, I really don't like the idea of having surgery, but would rather go that route if I know it's going to get rid of the problem (the disc extrusion).

So, please tell me if you have tried this or know anyone who has. Do you think it would be any different than my pt traction that didn't help?

Thanks!
