Well, I have a friend who told me to never mix wine and sewing machine, as that will lead to having to pull out the seam ripper (being a scientist, I had to experimentally verify that - and yes, the empirical evidence supports her hypothesis). But, it never occurred to me that the seam ripping may end with greater disaster.

Sorry to hear about your accident, I hope it can be remedied tomorrow!!!

LMAO! Designing under the influence??? hahahaha. Opens up a whole new world of law. The sewing machine (having a motor) has not even been introduced to this night's festivities. I am sure it may be fixed....somehow. Who knew after three glasses I wouldn't be able to walk the tape measure. Oh, happy Friday night...

p.s. perhaps 'destroying under the influence' may be a better idea for a thread.

    ROFLOL!!!!

    Been there....scissors are dangerous too!

In school our teacher issued sewing licenses, if you went to fast you would get 'points' against your liscense!

I hope you can recoupe your project!!!

LMFAO!!!! Let's just say if I were licensed, I lost a few demerit points last night. Damned devil juice. In the light of day, project should be fine but when I resume I won't be wearing beer (or wine) goggles.......l;,..l;,..l;,

Could we please add~ no alcohol, seam ripper, and movies that cause a flood of tears? Thank goodness it was my costume & not the two that belonged to others.

My mother generally advises against sewing and crafting, period. Although she is now trying some basic sewing (pillow cases and such) and entertains me with emails about the number of things she is informed she is doing wrong each time she goes to get the machine "looked at"
