My Wig
I didn't want to hijack Monsoondancer's thread about my own journey into hair that was not my own.
I was waivering on going the route of a full wig, I have short thin hair that I dye in any variation of crazy colors. Currently its fushia, purple, and blue. Not exactly a look that was going to work with my non-tribal costumes. lol
So, I stopped in at the local beauty supply place and found this beauty for less than $40! I can curl it for a little more bounce with my curling iron, and its not very heavy. Its going on its maiden voyage this weekend. ..g.:Last edited by NancyAsiya; 03-29-2010 at 03:51 PM.

Re: My Wig
I like it! Be very careful with heat appliances on synthetic fibers...can cause permafrizz. You're better off using old fashioned rollers and steaming the curls in with a clothing steamer. Nice bouncy, shiny curls that way. One time I curled an entire wig though I used my curling iron (not plugged in) that time. Worked great!
