Thread: busty girls, my straps look too small

Busty babes, I have this white Neckelmanns and maybe I need to change the straps so that it's halter style instead of straight back, but the straps are tiny and don't look well proportioned...do you stay away from small straps and go for wider bands or more shoulder coverage to balance it out?

sorry I don't have pics i guess i should take some for discussion. maybe it's because neckelmanns straps are so narrow and i just need to wear a sturdy thicker banded SIM

are there styles you lean towards so that it doesn't appear you are carrying around a large shelf with rocks?

Maybe add grosgrain ribbon to the straps so they are wider. If the straps are long enough, you can crisscross them in the back for better support.

I have to have wide straps. Skinny straps look disproportionate.

I usually add more to the strap, thick gross grain and add some trim. Works wonders. I even have to add to the top of the cup sometimes.

so its the darn thin straps isnt it..ok cool. might sell the costume since i'm too lazy to add ribbon. i need a mommy. its ok i really want a sim again

once you've had a sim its hard to wear a neckelmanns

I stay away from thin straps too. I've often added an extra strap, ie. not making the existing one wider but actually adding another set. Still gives the illusion of a wider strap, and you get better support.

Wide shoulders and big boobs here...I have to have the wide straps.

I just finished a costume for someone who is busty, and I made 1" wide straps on it. She wanted wide straps for comfort, but it does help with proportion too.

I vote for wider straps or 2 thin together

It also makez them super comfortable to pad them w/some type of cushiony batting/wadding & line w/silk.(super cumpfy) Very important when the breastz r so heavy

I'm a fan of wider straps, otherwise the thin straps tend to dig into my shoulders and look uncomfortable.
