Thread: What material is this made of?

Hi,
I posted about this costume before and everyone was so helpful! I want to make something inspired by this... so my quick questions are:

What material is it made of?

and what about the belt? What is it... where would i find that? can i get it from a fabric store?

It's hard to see what the actual fabric is from that photo, if you want to make a costume suitable for performing (ie. not too sheer) I would suggest white lycra.
The belt (and bra trim) looks like something you could buy from a haberdashery store in the trimmings section, with a few extra coins sewn on at intervals.
