Thread: Need ideas for a warrior type costume

I have a troupe member who wants a warrior type costume for a sword solo. There are a couple great ones for sale in the swap forum but they won't fit her, so she needs a retail vendor with other sizes to pick from or ideas for pulling various bits and pieces together to make one. Any suggestions?

Here's my warrior costume:



I made the whole thing myself from cut-up strips of leather & faux leather, a a grommetted Tunisian belt, hardware, metal buttons, chains, pendants, plastic skeletons.

Yeah, I thought about her doing a Zena look. As awesome as your costume is, I think she's leaning toward a more glamorous look. I know 'warrior' and 'glamorous' don't exactly go together in the same sentence but I can't think how else to describe it. ,r:;

You know, now that I think about it maybe the word 'warrior' is too strong to describe this look?

Maybe the word "warrior" IS too strong...so is "Amazon"...those imply a more athletic persona.
Need a name for that...maybe "Sword Diva." Or "Warrior Femme."
