this gem was found at the UBDC blog. i think it would be a great option for a dancer who is trying to save money, because it combines a shamadan and a bra ..g.:

I tracked down the back story. It's got nothing to do with bellydance, it's a piece of art, a play on the word 'candelabra'. The artist's other punny works include chandelearrings (which I also covet, by the way).

The artist is Hannah Havana, a young a British woman. It's possible she was inspired by a belly dancer with a shamadan, but also possible she's never seen one!

I kind of figured it was someone's art project more than a costume- the word play was just too fun to pass up! (I've seen other interpretations of a candle-a-bra before, but this is the first I've seen you actually *could* wear)

I was actually disappointed that it's not for sale anywhere. It seems like a fun thing to wear to a Rocky Horror party I was going to -- not strictly film-based, but the right spirit.
