Thread: Airbrush makeup--I'm totally sold

I LOVE it. Had it done yesterday for a photo shoot, and it is unbelievable! Made my skin glow under the camera lights. I'm totally sold on it. Even looked good 8 hours later at the restaurant, and after sweating! And, MAC makeup remover took it right off. It (oddly) also left my skin soft.

I will totally do it again for special events (too pricey for any other reason).

i want it done ! is there a cheaper way?

Yikes! I went to airbrushmakeup.com and it will cost me around 400.00 for the kit. Wow. In this recession, I think I'll stick with this for right now:

Well, for one session it was $40 at the one salon in town that offers it. That is more than reasonable (in my opinion) for makeup that lasts all day, considering if I had gone to MAC on the weekend I'd have had to buy $50 worth of stuff anyway to get an appt. BUT, I still wouldn't want to do it for more than special ocassions...not made of money and it took almost 2 hours.

I'd post a picture, but right now I just have the watermarked proofs and I don't own the rights to them until I buy them, so I don't know--that would probably be a no-no? Anyway, once I narrow down the list I'll be replacing most of the pics on my website with the new ones.

can't wait to see them:) I wonder if any place around here does that? I will have to look around:)
