Talk to me about eyelash extensions
This is something I've been thinking about for a while but need to be tested on sensitivity to the glue before I can have them. Does anyone have/had these? If so, what did you like? Dislike? Do they look they you're wearing mascara? If so, do they resemble false lashes at all? Do you have any problems with make-up application?
My natural lashes are already very long, but the tips are blonde. I also can't use false lashes because the adhesive has to touch my skin (I'm allergic). So this might be a nice alternative.

Re: Talk to me about eyelash extensions
I was at an expo and there was a rep there. I talked to him for a while, mostly just interested in how it worked...
All i know is that the adhesive is supposed to be only on the lash, and they look dark all the way to the tip. They stay on til your natural lash falls out. I am under the impression that they don't interfere with makeup application and you don't need mascara unless you want it.
Good luck.

I like that they are 'done' all the time. So I've stopped wearing mascara. They look 'real'.
Dislike?
Main dislike is the cost. I go in every 2 weeks for a top up, it gets expensive. Plus I can't rub my eyes like I used to, and you'd be amazed how many facial products have oils in, these now have to be avoided.
Do they look they you're wearing mascara?
No they just look like thick dark lashes.
If so, do they resemble false lashes at all?
Since the individual lashes are glued to your own lashes, they don't look false in that sense.
Do you have any problems with make-up application?
You can't use any oil based products, including eyeliner, or make-up removers. It dissolves the glue.
My natural lashes are already very long, but the tips are blonde.
If your lashes are already long, dying them would seem like a better option. You might be allergic to the dye, but there are several different ones to try. An anti-histamine tablet might help on the day that you are getting it done.
I also can't use false lashes because the adhesive has to touch my skin (I'm allergic). So this might be a nice alternative.
The adhesive is *very*strong. The fumes might be too much for you if you are an 'allergic' person. Again, an anti-histamine might help.

Re: Talk to me about eyelash extensions
Asteria, that is so helpful! Thank you very much. I think it may be worth it to try once and see how it goes so long as no adhesive touches my skin. I can't use dye either, unless it's vegan organic. The chemicals give me full-body hives ,f::
