    the pms goosh...

does anybody else get all gooshy when they are pms-ing...i always have a gig on the worst days it seems and it looks like what was not great but reasonable skin tone all falls apart...like it just oozed out of any shape that it might have had two days ago.

or am i just clouded by bad judgment relating to pms. argh. is there any way to lessen the gooshy goosh?

    Eat lots of jalapenos.

OK. I'm kidding. But jalapenos make everything better, so I really don't think my advice is THAT far-fetched ..l;,

If it's water retention, you can try soaking in a bath with epsom salts. At least 2 cups of epsom salts in a tub of warm water.

Don't skimp on the epsom salts or it won't do anything at all. Water is drawn through cell walls to areas of lesser concentration, so if there's a higher percentage of minerals in your bathwater than in your skin cells, water will be drawn out of the cells. It's temporary, but probably healthier than taking a diuretic.

I've weighed myself before and after epsom salt baths. Sometimes I weigh the same, but I've had as much as a 4.5 pound difference, depending on how bloated I was.
