Another pharaonics bra/skirt costume in which the beading at the waist band goes into the elastic, making it impossible to adjust the hip measurement or replace the elastic.

Yeah I know. I can put in another elastic on the inside with a thread casing...BUT I DON' WANNA'! GAHHHHH!!!!! it adds bulk and it doesn't gather right.

I TRADED MY LAST ONE OFF FOR THIS FOR *EXACTLY* THIS PROBLEM AND HERE I AM AGAIN. I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MYSELF.

Bummer. Is it just me or are Pharaonics getting kinda junky these days?

Yeah, I'm fairly sick of that issue. Had it with my last pharonix and my last hanan...sick of doing tiny cuts where there isn't beading and adding more or removing elastic into the incision.

Oh no! Is it the pretty red we traded? Are you saying they put the elastic in BEFORE they beaded the skirt? That is lame. That is a very nice costume & beading over/through the elastic waist is just plain stupid. We need a TJMaxx for slightly irregular costumes.

Yup, it's lame. It's easier, but it's lame and makes adjustements (and the eventual replacement of elastic) a pain.

unfortunately, this is the brilliance of designers nowadays. booooo :-((((((

but i have to agree that pharaonics are not what they used to be. much much worse quality than even two years ago. they used to be such high end costumes that were at the top of their class and not so much anymore.

don't worry....we commiserate with you. it sucks that such beauty has been done so brainlessly......
