Thread: Anyone Ever Received Incorrect Item from Bella?

I received my first Bella today and whilst is it everything I expected in design and quality it is completely the wrong colour!

Totally not the colour I ordered, and not even close actually as I ordered coral and this has come back in a lilacy pink. It all fits my measurements perfectly and the design is perfect, just the colour is wrong.

I really wasn't expecting this - has anyone else had similar problems?

that is super unfortunate. Does she not offer swatches?
I think she should take it back or give you a significant refund.

well I've written to her, so fingers crossed she comes back with something as this colour definitely doesn't suit me :-( PMing ya now!

So sorry this happened to you. I have never had this happen :( Id like to see a pic of what you did get though :) Im sure Bella will make it right.

I had an order once for 2 costumes and they mixed up the colors, the costumes came just the other way around.
Plus I ordered night blue and got a royal blue. But both costumes were pretty anyway so I informed them about the problem to take care for further orders and kept them like they were.

I know that getting the right shade of color sometimes is a problem. Night blue-royal blue, emerald-teal, shades of pink,...

BTW, I sent a mail last week to Bella and asked if they could make me a black with rainbow themed costume and gave them some examples how it may look like and what I don't want it to turn out.
Just got a confirmation I will get pics before shipping when the costume is finished. Didn't ask for a budget or sizes.
I ordered from them before but always in person in their shop so they may have my sizes from other orders 1 and 4 years ago. But they always worked out the style and design with me before the work on a costume started.
Hmmm... is this usual to get an surprise-costume?

the only time i have had something similar happen is when i asked for a specific shade of green- sent her examples and she couldnt find a fabric that matched the design she wanted to use. before she started she asked me if a darker shade was ok and it was fine with me.
never had another color issue.

Bella has agreed to remake the costume for me, so all seems good!

I kn ew she would make it right :) Sometimes though, it helps to send a pic of another costume in the colour you want-that way she can match as close as possible ;) Hope you get what you want this time ;)

She offered a refund or exchange. I sold two on bhuz and I shipped one back. She should contact me about the new costume soon!! I'm already thinking about my next order...
