False Lashes -- better to go for length, or thickness?
So I'm having my first "real" photo shoot this weekend, and I'm stumped as to what kind of false eyelashes to go for. I'm looking for mostly full-body shots, so nothing too close-up. What's going to really help "pop" my eyes and create a pretty, dramatic look, but not be too over the top? I don't think the "Bessie the cow" long, thick, solid lashes would look good for me. So I'm wondering, do I choose some that are longer, and a little more thinned out? Or do I choose ones that are more of a natural length, but thicker and fuller?
(If it helps to know for my specific case, my eyes are deep-set and downturned, so per Azhia's suggestions I know they've gotta be spiky instead of all the same length, but I'm happy to hear any "in general" tips as well.)
If anyone has links to any of the threads for photo shoot tips handy, I'd love to take a look at those, too. I'm so clueless!
Thank you so much!

Sorry I can't be of more help, Anjela. But I have heard that some dancers wear two pairs of lashes at a time to thicken. I know TanyaLV does and her photos are always so beautiful. Maybe try and experiment beforehand to see what two pairs does for you.

Double lashes looks great on stage, but can be a bit much in photoshoots, especially if you're doing headshots. If you want a more natural look I go for length with medium thickness.

There are long, thick, whispy lashes - they are not so easy to find around here (even at Sally's), but they may do the trick for you.

I think you should buy both kinds and put them on with full make up and take a few test pics at home so you can see it for yourself and pick which is best for you. Otherwise you may not like the final look on the day of the photoshoot and it will be too late.

Agreeing with the experimentation already suggested. Also, beef up your own natural lashes with badonkadonk mascara application and it will intensify the false lash application. Hence, you'll have both: long and thick (at the root, where it counts).
Um, no, I'm not going there... ..l;,.w.:

along the experimentation lines- I often end up trimming & shaping false lashes in some way- so try it out, take a few sample pictures at home for a better idea of what you're getting. It also depends on what you were given to work with- I have super thick lashes in the first place, so I stick with long, less full ones, but if you have thinner lashes, you might want thicker false ones.
